Our Luxembourg office is now recruiting for a C++ Developer.

Exciting C++ Development Role now available

As a C++ Developer in this position you will operate within a highly experienced and dedicated group of engineers, engaged in product design and implementation of enterprise applications. This role has a very high level of technical and product knowledge spanning multiple development technologies and target platforms.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Advanced technical knowledge in software development methodologies, strong knowledge of OO programming, design and implementation in C++

·         Analytical and design skills at multi-product/multi-environment level, dealing with multi-threading design, desirable. Knowledge of UML is a plus.

·         Understands cross-platform and/or internationalisation development.

·         In-depth experience in research and analysis, project planning and implementation.

·         Excellent understanding of entire development process, including specification, documentation and quality assurance.

·         Strong communications and interpersonal skills.

·         Learn new products quickly and fast adoption of new technologies.

·         Able to conduct complex investigations and information research.

·         Motivation for technical challenges.

·         Ability to work on an international environment with teams located in several countries, with different native languages, time zones and cultures.

·         Advanced PC skills, good understanding of networking concepts.

The successful candidate will:

·        Knowledge of active directory (concepts) is a plus

·        Knowledge of Windows security (concepts) is a plus

·        Understanding DB design and SQL Development, being able to use management tools for profiling and debugging

·    Significant experience in development of User Interface modules and application servers routines on Windows 

·    Minimum of 3 years experience in Windows programming for GUIs using MFC and or ATL / WTL

·        Have a strong work ethic and sense of professional pride          

·        Be a self-starter with common sense approach and an attention to detail

·        Have the ability to adapt to changing priorities and to thrive in a fast-paced work environment

·        Be a tenacious problem solver

·        Be able to work well with other highly talented individuals

·        Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Required Qualifications:

An honors university degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
